Hi, I’m Pastor Sharon
I am both honored and excited to serve as the lead pastor of Midway United Methodist Church in Douglasville, Georgia. Since 2020, I have served as a local licensed pastor in the North Georgia Conference, where I also served as a Fresh Expressions cultivator — helping churches reimagine what it means to BE the church beyond the building walls. I’m passionate about building authentic relationships in the community and walking alongside others as we grow in faith together.
My husband, Rubby, and I lovingly restored an old farm, where we raised chickens, pigs, and our beloved dogs — including a few rescued friends and our own Great Danes. We enjoy building and growing things (both literally and spiritually), spending time outdoors, and catching live music whenever we can. As proud Gen Xers, we’ve got a soft spot for 80s tunes and a good movie night.
