Commonly Asked Questions
What should I wear?
We’re a mix of different cultures so in our Sunday Service you’ll find a mix of casual and dressier styles. Wear what makes you feel comfortable and enjoy your siblings in Christ!
Is there a place for my kids?
Yes! We want children to feel loved and accepted as a vital part of our church family. Children are welcome in church service. We love the sounds of children who are growing their understanding of our magnificent God and learning to worship. Ask an usher for an activity pack if your children wish to stay with you during service. If you have a sleepy or restless child, also have an area in the back of our sanctuary to help you and your children feel comfortable.
We also have during church services nursery and child care that strictly adhere to UMC safe sanctuaries policies.
Nursery care for ages 0-PreK is provided during Sunday morning worship services. Please see an usher for directions to the Nursery.
Students K-12th grade, will start worship service in the Sanctuary. Students 6th grade and up will stay in worship for the sermon. Children 5th grade & under may sit in the kids area (first 2 rows in the center) or with their parents. There will be a Children’s Moment and then children 5th grade & under may follow Children’s Ministry Lead Theresa Morris to Sunday School. Children will return to the sanctuary for parents to pick them up after service.
Where do I park?
This is an excellent question and depends on a number of factors:
If there are mobility issues to consider requiring a flat level walking surface the portico entrance is the best access to the sanctuary. For access to the fellowship hall, the rear entrance or the kitchen entrance is best.
If it is raining you can drop your riders at the portico to keep them dry and make sure you have an umbrella or rain coat.
Otherwise you are welcome to park in the north or south lot as is convenient to you.
